How many of us today would like to eat healthier, but just don't have the tools, skills, nutritional knowledge,
or community to support that?
Beautiful Foods Vegan cooking classes are all about empowering you to make healthy diet and lifestyle choices, and share
those with your family and friends.
It is my promise that even after one class, you will come away with new fat-free cooking techniques you can use
in ANY dish. For example, learning how I make Indian samosas will enable you to make french fries, Chinese
spring rolls, Greek spanikopita, etc. My demos and explanations will teach you new techniques, and your hands-on cooking
will make those techniques yours to use as you see fit when you get back to your own kitchen!
And when you choose to attend multiple sessions, you will be exposed to more and more unique recipes, spicing concepts,
timing tips, efficiency tricks, and "aha!" experiences. Again, this is not hopeful thinking--this is just what the classes
are like: a revolutionary way to approach cooking.
As a private chef, group teacher and holistic health mentor, my services range from one-on-one instruction, motivational
counseling, goal setting, group classes, catered parties and custom-tailored meals. Some clients even choose
to focus more on exercise and stress reduction to bring balance into their lives. Whatever fits your needs is a
great place to begin!

time).

I was not raised vegan. It was an interesting evolution for me, as it is for many Americans. I share my personal story
on the "Bio and History" page, for those of you who are interested. I have also included a link to my personal e-mail for
anyone wishing to attend one of my seminars or feature me on their radio show, or for doctors who would like to refer
their patients to me for healthy cooking lessons (similar to the ones I gave for a 1998 Physicians Committee for Responsible
Medicine medical study).
Please sign my guestbook and let me know what you think of this site. Also feel free to contribute
to this site with your "Recipe Makeover" requests. Remember, there is a healthy vegan alternative to most dishes out there--it
just takes a little creativity!
